It is the policy of Arklow Cancer Support to provide a relaxed atmosphere for clients who have to undertake this journey for treatment.

We have an amazing group of volunteer drivers.

Arklow Cancer Support offers transport for Radiotherapy only, unfortunately we do not offer transport for Chemotherapy.

Radiotherapy treatment often requires a significant amount of travel. Patients already face the physical and emotional burdens of their diagnosis, and the logistics of getting to and from appointments can heighten this stress.

If you are undergoing cancer treatment, we are here to help alleviate some of the travel challenges for you and your family. External radiotherapy is generally delivered once daily, five days, for a duration of up to eight weeks.

Our transport service is offered at no cost to all register clients. This service exclusively provides transport for radiotherapy appointments only. It covers trips to and from several hospitals in Dublin. Should you wish to avail of this service please contact our office to register as a client and a member of our team will arrange your transport and will be happy to explain everything to you.
